Kerry Hines is a poet, writer and researcher with a particular interest in the history of photography and New Zealand photographic histories.

Kerry’s current research projects include an investigation of the summer camps set up by young men at the Christchurch seaside c.1892-1910, drawing on photographs by Adam Henry Pearson Maclay; and ‘Half-way Home,’ poems and images relating to the transit depot for New Zealand soldiers, Devon, 1917-1919.
