‘Scenery, Industry, Surface, and Scale’ – an essay responding to an exhibition of photographs by Carleton Watkins, commissioned by Te Papa Press and co-authored with Wayne Barrar – is in issue 10 of the online journal Off the Wall.

The exhibition includes ten of Watkins’ mammoth-prints of Yosemite and mining landscapes, and runs at Te Papa Tongarewa Museum of New Zealand until August 2016.
